Utrecht University Botanic Gardens, Netherlands - 4298

At Fort Hoofddijk, part of the New Dutch Water Line, are the Botanical Gardens of the University of Utrecht, gardens for science and public.

Here you can find among other things, Europe's largest rock garden and the System Garden full of summer flowers. In the Theme Garden are various themes such as medicinal plants and dye plants featured.

The adjacent Little animals Garden was built to the small creatures like butterflies, bumblebees and bees, but also to please frogs and hedgehogs.

This is what we saw in the Botanic Gardens in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
