In Burgers' Zoo inhabit the Square-lipped rhino's (Dutch: Breedlipneushoorns) at the rear section of the Safari Plain.
There are several females who wield the scepter over the slightly larger and heavier breeding male.
Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the end of the afternoon Royal Burgers' Zoo was surprised with the birth of a white rhinoceros.
It was the first time outside at the Safari plain a young rhino was born.
