De Hoge Berg, Texel, Netherlands - 3513

De Hoge Berg (High Mountain) is the highest point of a boulder clay on the island of Texel. The hill is 15 meters high and is located between the villages of Den Burg and Oudeschild.

The hill was created during the Ice Age, the Saale glacial, the period in which incurred the island Wieringen and Gaasterland.

Despite the low height of the hill it is visible from Den Helder and Wieringen and from the top there is a panoramic view all around.
