The light fixtures at the Capitol Diner in Harrisburg, PA are not what you expect in your average diner. But then, the Capitol Diner isn't your average diner.
The attention to detail that was put into this renovation by both the builder and the owner is evident everywhere you look. It's really a fantastic marriage of classic, old school diner looks, modern colors and warm woods.
I had a great time on this shoot - I spent HOURS with the owner. His day started at 8am but he was there at 3am as I wrapped up the last of the virtual tours.
If you're ever in the area, seriously - get yourself to Capitol Diner. The staff is fantastic and so is the food. And if you see Jimmy, tell him Daryl sent you!
