Signs Of Strength
In a cold winter's setting, a deserted barn shows its age as holes have begun to appear. Yet in the deterioration there is the sign of craftsmanship and lumber from an age when a 2x4 was actually a 2x4, not something shaved to suit a changing market. At my age I pay special attention to those who are my peers and in many of them the signs of strength are evident in spirit if not in body.
