Futile Envy

Nearing sunset on a fall afternoon, a small flock of turkeys gaze up at their feathered cousins thinking it must be great to be able to fly like that, not knowing their cousins are looking down thinking it must be nice to be able to spend most of life in one place. Throughout my days I have observed many people envy others but ultimately find envy doesn't change their fortunes.
