Vega - Bald Eagle / Weißkopfseeadler
Vega, weiblicher Weißkopfseeadler im Maryland Zoo, Baltimore
Before leaving Baltimore at the end of a business trip I had a chance to visit the Maryland Zoo. It was early in the morning, freezing cold and many animals were hiding inside. This bald eagle was very active so I had the chance to take some pictures of her. As far as I remember she is pretty old and she was injured, so there was no chance to release her back into the wild.
