South African Goodies
So I had a week off work - my first week off this whole year *whoop whoop*. I had no plans, except maybe to sleep late, go to bed late and generally be as lazy as possible. Then I had an idea. Why not try and "see" or "do" something new every day. For example - being a South African living abroad, I think I echo the feelings of all of us Saffa's when I say that there are things that we miss from home - like boerewors and biltong and caramel in a tin. Well, I thought I'd start off my whole "see/do" thing by getting some old favourites from home, which you have to search high and low for, and they cost an arm and a leg. The taste... Oh it was a whole new experience all over again!!! Man I miss home!!!
