The Crop Shop without Photoshop, iMac 27 inch and MacBook Pro 16 inch.
I bought Photoshop when I bought my second digital camera in 2006, Nikon D2x and used it only to water mark my photographs on my website.
I believe wildlife and nature photographs which includes people should NOT be photoshopped, because they are created by God, and by making major changes to the image captured by the camera on the computer, the image is no longer a photograph but digital art, and photographers should tell the viewer what major changes were made, or in my case I state what was done to the photographs, only cropped on some.
National Geographic:
Some rules for summiting photographs to enter contest.
Photographs may be taken with any type and brand of camera.
Photographs may not be entered that previously have won an award in a
National Geographic sponsored photography contest.
Only submit photographs that are un-manipulated and real. Do not digitally
enhance or alter your photographs (beyond the basics needed to achieve
realistic color balance and sharpness). Cropping is acceptable. If you have
digitally added or removed anything, please don't submit the shot. Every photo
will be reviewed to see if it's authentic, and if we find that yours in any way is
not, it will be disqualified. In case of the winners, RAW files will be
requested, to be submitted for review. Please do not submit images showing
product branding, logos, and trademarks.

Wikipedia
A photograph (also known as a photo) is an image created by light falling on a photosensitive surface, usually photographic film or an electronic image sensor, such as a CCD or a CMOS chip. Most photographs are created using a camera, which uses a lens to focus the scene's visible wavelengths of light into a reproduction of what the human eye would see. The process and practice of creating such images is called photography. The word photograph was coined in 1839 by Sir John Herschel and is based on the Greek φῶς (phos), meaning "light," and γραφή (graphê), meaning "drawing, writing," together meaning "drawing with light.”
