38/2009: Toadstool Baby Rattle

Pattern: Toadstool Baby Rattle by The Purl Bee

Yarn: Hello Yarn Sock in Kale, Hot Peppers, and Pickle, plus some scrap white

Needle: size 0

 

Conclusion: Yay! This is freaking adorable. Knitting the second half of the rattle with the rattle inside did my head in, but I'll definitely make more. These would be great with no rattle and a weight in the bottom, just as a decoration.

 

I lengthened the stem, as it was coming out super short. This was probably my own gauge problem.
