Long-tailed tit

There are much more colourful and showy birds, but the tiny long-tailed tit has to be one of my all-time favourites. I spent time yesterday watching the woodland feeding areas at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve in Arundel. As its name implies, the reserve is really about waterfowl, but a lot of wild birds visit too. It's such a lovely place to spend a day.
