Rhinestones on ribbons
... and whiskers on kittens. Sorry, for some reason I find myself humming the title to the tune of 'My Favourite Things' from 'The Sound of Music'. I guess it's just the rhythm of the words. :)
The buttons in this image all date back to the late 19th century. The hand torn ribbons have the frayed edges I love and are all modern. Some are chiffon and some are made from sari silk.
