Elegantly Edwardian
I was determined to do something different for this theme, and I really tried, but I guess it was always inevitable that I would end up with a button. The only problem then was which one to choose! Anyway, eventually this one stayed in my hand and here it is. It dates from the 1900s and it's made of an early plastic with an enamelled filigree escutcheon. The button is leaning against a Sylko cotton reel from the 1950s/60s.
For this week's Macro Mondays group theme, Fastener. The button is a little under 1¼" wide.
