In the dog house

This glass button is a little the worse for wear. Some of the paint has worn away, but it's not surprising for something that was made in the 1930s. The base is a hand painted gift card and there are 2 wooden cotton reels in the background, which date from the 1910s. There's not much thread left on them, but that seemed to fit with the faded button.
