Petite Violette
The button is French (you'd never guess from the title, would you?) and it dates from the end of the 19th century. The flower is hand painted and the button is just ½" wide. The Sylko cotton reel in the background is from the early 1950s. I found the little china pot in the Lewes Antiques Flea Market, but it's only pretend antique. It's actually a reproduction made for Franklin Mint in the 1980s, I believe, inspired by a Minton vase. I don't hold that against it. :)
