Floral

This is an old Japanese Satsuma button, probably from the early 1900s. It was painted by hand and is now a bit worn around the edges, but that's not really surprising for something that's well over a hundred years old. Behind it is a Sylko wooden cotton reel dating from the late 1930s-early 1950s and a silver thimble, which was hallmarked in London in 1897. Right at the back is a needle case from the 1940s, but you wouldn't really know that, so I'm not counting it. :)
