Summer borders

I always love the end of the day at places I visit when nearly everyone else has gone home. It allows me to imagine that it's all mine ... well, at least for a few minutes. The flower borders at Borde Hill are full of beautiful colour at the moment. The hand rail on the right is at the side of steps leading up to the Italian garden with its lovely lily-covered pond.
