Remembering Jaz
Taking the decision to have a much loved pet put to sleep is so hard and it's very easy to wonder afterwards if you got the timing right. Did you make the decision too early or, even worse, too late? Looking at this image of Jaz, which was taken not much more than a month before she died, helps me a little to come to terms with it. I can see that she was OK then. The end was very sudden because her kidneys stopped working, but she had a very long and happy life. My other three girls are all doing well and slowly getting used to the new order.
