This was taken very quickly when everyone was at the the other side of the pod.
It is a bit wobbly as it was taken by hand and the perspective was changing as the pod was moving. it is nearly 180 degrees looking east over London and a few feet lower than the highest point of the wheel (135 metres / 443 ft).
Myself, Sinsiwinsi and Batbob went on the eye while JP stayed on the ground as he had been on it before.
its the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK and on 5 June 2008 it was announced that 30 million had ridden the London Eye since its opening in March 2000.
It rotates at 26 cm (10 in) per second (about 0.9 km/h (0.5mph) so that one revolution takes about 30 minutes.
