Baby Smiles

We were lucky enough to see these wonderful baby alligator hatchlings at our local reptile park in a "behind the scenes" visit. The reptile park here is home to hundreds of crocodiles and alligators. Such fascinating prehistoric animals. Would you like a crocodile poem? Ok ..

 

She sailed away on a pleasant summer's day

On the back of a big crocodile

You see, she said, he's as tame as can be

I'll float with him awhile

But the croc winked his eye as she waved goodbye

Wearing her sunny smile

At the end of the ride the lady was inside

and the smile was on the crocodile.

 

Handy hint to easily tell crocodiles and alligators apart - The alligator will see you later, while the crocodile in a while. You are welcome :)
