Away from the world of landscapes and majestic animals lives a world of tiny wee beasts, equally as fascinating, and important to this world in which we are just visitors. I have had a growing love of macro photography in recent years, seeing the world normally unseen. When you are this small 80-80 vision helps ;)
This handsome chap is a huntsman spider. They are great houseguests, harmless to humans yet happily hunting and eating the bugs and nasties around the place. Mind you they grow quite large and can scare the bejesus out of you if they suddenly appear on your car windscreen while driving!
