soft summer light

Sundrop / oenothera fruticosa is a virbrant, almost neon, yellow colour. I wanted to photograph it without making it look garish as it can when photographed in full sun. Luck and light were with me in the latter half of this afternoon when a thin wisp of cloud passed by allowing me to capture this softer portrait while retaining a fairly bright tone.
