This photo doesn't do Kathy Hinde's work justice; Piano Migrations was a subtle, haunting piece that was in turn beautiful and yet faintly disturbing - it really did look as if the piano was full of living, fluttering birds.
After Sarah Nicolls's Inside Out Piano last year, I guess the challenge for Thomas will be to come up with another work involving a suspended piano in 2012...
