La chapelle Palatine {EXPLORED}
Commencée en 1130 et terminée en 1143, la chapelle Palatine présente un mélange d’influences romano-sicule, byzantine et arabe. Elle possède de somptueuses mosaïques byzantines dont les plus anciennes remonteraient au début du XIIe siècle.

J’ai utilisé 14 photos HDR pour réaliser le vertorama avec la fonction Photomerge de Photoshop. Chaque photo HDR est réalisée avec Photomatix 4.1 à partir de 3 expositions : -2ev ; 0ev ; +2ev.
Le trépied étant interdit j'ai pris les photos à main levée à 400 ISO.

The Palatine Chapel (Italian: Cappella Palatina) is the royal chapel of the Norman kings of Sicily situated on the ground floor at the center of the Palazzo Reale in Palermo, southern Italy.
The chapel was commissioned by Roger II of Sicily in 1132 to be built upon an older chapel (now the crypt) constructed around 1080. It took eight years to build and many more to decorate with mosaics and fine art.
The mosaics of the Palatine Chapel are of unparalleled elegance as concerns elongated proportions and streaming draperies of figures.
The chapel combines harmoniously a variety of styles: the Norman architecture and door decor, the Arabic arches and scripts adorning the roof, the Byzantine dome and mosaics.

I used 14 HDR photos for completing the vertorama. Every HDR photo is tonemapped with Photomatix 4.1 from 3 exposures (-2;0;+2). The tripod is not allowed, so i took the photo at 400 ISO.
