YMCA Healthy Kids Day
Kingwood Library participated in the annual YMCA of Greater Houston Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Among the many activities, the event included games, entertainment, fitness challenges, and health screenings.
Kingwood Library staff gave out information about library services while also signing up parents and children for library cards. They also provided a soccer finger puppet craft for the children. After coloring the puppets, the kids made a makeshift soccer field and, using a small pom pom for a ball, had a soccer match.
