The Invalids Cathedral
Tombeau Of Napoleon - Hôtel des Invalides (1975)
The tomb of Napoleon, Paris
The Invalides is a domed building in the 7th arrondissement in Paris and is part of the Hôtel des Invalides complex. Originally used as a church, it was converted in 1840 to serve as the burial place for Emperor Napoleon I.
The building may still look the same, just maybe not quite as warped.... ;)Seen and captured with a Fisheye lens!
I took the photo in 1975 with an analogue Asahi Pentax SP II (M42) camera, using a 17mm fisheye lens, (180°), and slide film. Recently scanned with a Nikon Coolscan LS 40ED film scanner
