40106 has been attached to the back of the driver fxp at Heywood, the sun has gone in and the small crowd of photographers have left for Bury Bolton Street.

37706 is about to cross over the ground frame onto Network Rail metals and onwards to it's next working. A date with the Flying Scotsman awaits.
