Taken for Beginner's Daily Challenge: Circles and Spheres
A close-up filter provides a shallow depth of field here, but it's otherwise a basic shot in front of a window providing some direct light. I also used a reflector to camera-right so that I could fill in some of the shadow. This caused the overall background exposure to darken just a touch, but I like the warm tone of the background over a stark white in this case because I feel it better suits the colors on the globe.
