Ghost Town
This was taken at Rhyolite, a ghost town on the edge of Death Valley. Originally a gold mining town, its population declined from 8000 in 1908 to a mere 14 in 1920.
In 1984 a Belgian artist, Albert Szuykalski settled there for a short time and created several installations, many of which still stand today. This one he ironically called 'The Last Supper'
