Devotion (re-edit)
On a concrete pier stretching in the Ganga in Rishikesh, I found this woman holding a candle and spinning slowly in a circle.
This is another re-edit, as I've been busy learning many new Photoshop tricks.
For the re-edit, I applied the same ideas from single-exposure tone-mapping to bring out more color and details. Then I applied some concepts from the "Orton Effect" to soften the image.
I'm even more pleased with the image now, and I was most satisfied with the final result that softened the woman's skin and brought out color.
View On Black. You've nothing better to do.
Please compare this with the original image.
I'm a little disappointed the flickr image seems to have lost a bit of the glow... Oh well.
