Former TEE Train
This former TEE train of NS was recently acquired by the Nederlands Transportmuseum in Nieuw-Vennep. This type of trains was a joint development by the Swiss and Dutch railways. From 1957 until 1974 they were used for Trans Europe Express services between Amsterdam and Zürich and Amsterdam and Paris. In 1977 they were shipped to Canada for the Ontario Northland Railway. After their service in Canda some remaining parts of the trains were returned to Europe in 1998. Now finally the museum is about to restore this train. A lot of work has to be done on this long abandoned train.
