I did not get my Christmas gift and Santa did not come on Christmas Day. I know why. Because he got stuck at the window here. I saw him since Christmas Day until end of the year here!
So please do not think that you are not good this year or not good enough this year if you did not get the gift from Santa. It is simply that he got stuck somewhere!
Similar situation like photo competition you have entered. If you did not win the grand prize, it is simple and straight that you have not met with a judge panel that will appreciate or in empathy with your photographic vision. You will get to the place when you meet with a good judge.
