Chasing The Legend

The larger of the two lakes has a pretty clean shoreline. Not a lot of places for an alligator to hang out while not being seen. But there is the spillway and I spent a few minutes poking around it.

 

If I were an urban alligator, this is where I'd be. But I didn't find anything.

 

Being late to meet a friend for dinner and totally dejected, I headed back.

 

And then... I SAW IT!
