Special Cocktail Hour: Arugula Black Rum Manhattan AKA Only Vacation Spirits Manhattan

 

Friends were in Italy for almost a month and brought us lots of little bottles of Amaro - including this Amaro di Rucoletto that features arugula as a primary flavor.

Bitter. Yet juicy and bright. Like you.

Mount Gay X.O Rum in the role of the whiskey.

Amaro di Rucoletto is the role of vermouth.

Orange bitters

Lemon Twist

 

Stirred with ice. Strained into oh-so-delicate glass.

 

Tasty. A bit boozy.
