Friday Night Cocktail Hour: Upstate Sour #cocktailrobot -•- Today is World Cocktail Day it seems. South Hill Cider makes lots of charming ciders up in Ithaca. I was gifted a bottle of their Pommeau. Pommeau is apple brandy (eau-de-vie) added to apple cider and clocks in at around 16-19% ABV - originally found in NW France. 1.50 oz. Pommeau 0.75 oz. High-Proof Rye Whiskey 1.00 oz. Lemon Juice 0.50 oz. Simple + Jaggery Syrup egg whites Dry shake! Shake with ice. Stain onto big cube.
