GRWE Meet & Greet At Baldock Services
With everyone and all the dogs looking alert!!
Greyhound Recue West of England are one of many charities dedicated to re-homing retired racing greyhounds (and lurchers and other sighthounds). Just happened to hear about this meet 'n' greet at a service station not far down the road from us, so we tagged along.
I love greyhounds (as if you hadn't noticed), so my project today is to go and see the 'management' of my local country store to see if they would kindly allow a meet 'n' greet outside their store. greyhound re-homing needs as much publicity and support it can to help these noble creatures. They have after all given us entertainment on the race track, so they deserve all the care and love we can give after they have been discarded or retired.
Greyhounds make wonderful pets..............thinkabout adopting one today. Go on, you know you want to!!
