fungal (inverted) ice

Inverted mushroom forms...as with the image "hanging rippled ice forms", I assume that that surrounding ground water is forming into various ice forms on the banks of the stream. In this case, I think the water rushing close beneath the form sculpts it flat at the same time (through droplets flying up from the turbulence below) as adding matter, creating the expanded shape at the bottom.
