If you're going to #squat, #squatdeep. 3 x 160, 170, 175, 180, 185kgs off 3 minute recoveries. Week 1 is at a comfortable but still challenging weight. My aim for this cycle is to get the final 3 reps up to 195/200 in 2 weeks.

 

For this training cycle, I prefer to squat deep, driving through the floor, and on transition, engage my glutes through the full movement. One caution; you have to be careful to maintain good form through the repetition and it also helps if you possess the required flexibility to squat deep. It can go wrong in a hurry and then you're fucked.
