Etching the board.
Once the transfer is complete and the transfer paper is removed you have to get rid of all of the extra copper on the board. You use an etchant, in this case Ferric Chloride to remove all of the excess copper. Simply drop some ferric chloride into a bag with the board and agitate. The Ferric Chloride will work faster if its warm, so heat the etchant in a water bath before or during etching.
