Montana residents recently got an alert about a possible zombie attack on their TV screens when hackers raised this bizarre alarm by hacking on to many local news networks. This hack resulted into the interruption of regular broadcasts after which a message warning which stated that the dead are attacking the living was displayed on the TV screens of viewers in Montana. The affected channels were those of the Montana Television Network viz. KRTV, and Michigan based WNMU – TV and WBUP –TV. The hackers were able to interrupt the regular broadcast as they gained access to the Emergency Alert System, which is the system used to broadcast warnings in case of real emergencies and catastrophes or direct messages from the President himself.
