Steps 4 & 5: Strain and add half stick of butter*

*half stick = 4 tbsp

 

Do not pre-make the cheese sauce. The secret is to mix it all(cheese powder, milk, butter) together with the macaroni. I usually let the butter melt, then add the cheese powder, stir a little bit, then add the milk and complete the mixture.
