Talacre Lighthouse
The lighthouse on talacre beach, North Wales. If the lighthouse looks bent, thats because it is as its sunk in the sand over the years.
Got the following info on the lighthouse from a website:
"1776. Inactive since 1883. 18 m (58 ft) brick tower with lantern and gallery, painted white; lantern painted black, lantern dome red. Though long abandoned, this lighthouse has been maintained in fairly good condition. The lighthouse is surrounded by water at high tide, but it can be reached easily across a broad, flat beach when the tide is low. Located on the beach about 1 km (0.6 mi) west of Point of Ayre. Accessible by walking about 800 m (0.5 mi) from Talacre, a short distance off the A548 coastal highway."
