Chapel and moon
Somewhat similar to another photo I posted several weeks previously, this is actually a different chapel, although the religious denomination (LDS) is the same. This is the stake center for the Chandler Arizona Alma Stake, photographed just before the closed-circuit telecast of the priesthood session of General Conference, which I attended inside this building along with perhaps 200 other men and boys. The stake had organized a meal for the attendees, which was being held in the parking lot where I took this picture. I noticed the moon framed between the steeple and the tree, and decided to capture it. (I took my camera to the meeting, intending to take some time exposures later when the cars were pulling out of the parking lot, but none of them turned out well enough to post here.)
A word to viewers who may not be LDS: If a Mormon ever invites you to the "stake center," don't start salivating, as he or she will not be speaking of a restaurant such as Bonanza. On this particular occasion, however, the main dish of the meal being served did happen to be steak. And it was good!
