Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three fire engines were mobilised following a number of calls reporting a fire, initially believed to be in one of the beach huts.

 

"Upon arrival, crews confirmed that a catering hut unit was well alight. Throughout the incident crews used:

 

Four breathing apparatus

One hose reel jet

One compressed air foam branch

Small tools

Thermal image camera

"The building was 100% damaged by fire. The cause is believed to be accidental."
