Richard George 2 says: I remember the window ordeal at the Hancock. They had the streets surounding the building roped off to keep pedestrians from being hit with falling window panes. In fact I got to work in the building during a High School work release program offered by the Boston Public Schools in 1974/75. I saw the bare bones of the intererior as it was being constucted

Richard George 2 says: I remember this style of slide was standard issue at all the Boston Parks/playgrounds. They were all metal and worked great. Then the safety police stepped in with lame new versions that don't give you nearly as a good a ride.
