†[technical note: processed in adobe lightroom 4.2 from a sony rx100 raw image--one of the first raw images i've ever processed. i also processed this image using dxo labs software, but for now, lightroom proved intuitively easier to use and i'll have to actually resort to reading the docs for dxo before trying it again.]
