Morning Doe (White-tailed Deer)
Sort of like morning joe, a pleasant jolt but without the caffeine. End of November and the leaves are finally turning on Armand Bayou. The red (ish) in this scene is invasive Chinese tallow. It is fast-growing and crowds out native trees but at least it provides some nice color, spring and fall.
Update: On closer inspection, this appears to be a first year (button buck) male. Oh well.
