Green Herons will go to considerable lengths to keep their feet dry while fishing. It helps their cause to have incredible leg strength and grip as well as flexibility and body control. The combination is deadly to the hapless gulf menhaden in Horsepen Bayou, but endlessly entertaining to the lucky human observer. At least to this lucky human observer.
