Lake Mark Kramer
I don't recall previously seeing Little Blue Herons flying in formation (forming the binary number four), nor sailing for several hundred yards just inches above the surface of the water. While I didn't know it at the time, they may have been heralding a momentous occasion: the renaming of Mud Lake to Lake Mark Kramer in honor of the Conservation Director Emeritus and Chief Naturalist Emeritus of the Armand Bayou Nature Center, and my good friend.
