All Wet

When the splashing sound behind me finally registered, I assumed it was a fellow paddler and was reluctant to take my lens off the eagle I had been observing. Soon enough though, it became so insistent I had to turn and was just in time to catch this White-tail doe as she passed within about ten feet of my kayak. I had been screened from view by a reed clump and I expect she was as surprised to see me in her path as I was to see her. On Horsepen Bayou.
